Welcome to our organization
Anza-Borrego Desert Botany Society is a group of volunteers dedicated to the appreciation, preservation and interpretation of the flora of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
Each year of sufficient rainfall the desert explodes with a fantastic and colorful bloom of wildflowers. The Botany Society's goal is to assist Anza-Borrego Desert State Park staff with interpreting this bloom to the thousands of visitors who flock to the desert during these spectacular spring blooms.
We encourage you to join us if you have an interest in the desert flora, are able to attend monthly meetings, and can contribute 60 hours to the Botany Society annually. Members are also invited to learn more about desert flowers by taking our annual Botany Certification course.
